Reserve 30|SL Carbon Wheelset
The LoamLabs Expert Take
The 30|SL is engineered to make your trail bike feel alive. As the "Super Light" version of the classic 30|HD, it sheds weight to create a wheelset that spins up faster and feels incredibly snappy and responsive in the corners. This is our top recommendation for all-day epics and riders who value a lively, playful ride feel above all else.
We sometimes build these wheels in-house to the manufacturer's spec, ensuring availability even when the manufacturer is out.

Spoke Reinforcements
Reserve uses externally reinforced spoke holes to strengthen the area where the rim sees the most force, around the spoke nipple. This provides for improved strength without adding unnecessary weight.
-
Redesigned Rim Bed
The 30|SL's redesigned rim bed eases tubeless installation, with a shaped rim bed utilizing offset spoke holes that allows the tire to easily push past the bead bump to seat tubeless tires.
-
Asymmetrical Design
Asymmetrical rims front and rear make for a stiffer, stronger and more reliable wheels by improving the bracing angles and equalizing the spoke tensions between the drive and non-drive side spokes.
